Open Call For Pianists
Requirements

Who is it for?
We invite submissions from emerging professional pianists and their musical partners (including vocalists, instrumentalists, and four-hand piano duos) who are in the early stages of their performance careers. This opportunity is ideal for those nearing graduation from a music conservatoire or university, or for recent graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), the University of Glasgow (UofG), or similar institutions.
Programme Suggestions
Please propose a programme lasting up to 20-25 minutes. Slightly under this limit is preferable, your programme must not exceed 25 minutes.
We encourage creativity in your programming. Alongside standard classical repertoire, please include at least one piece that will be instantly recognisable to a broad audience. This could be music by composers such as Gershwin or Debussy, Scottish folk tunes, or film music. If you are performing with a singer, feel free to include familiar songs, including selections from musicals and film.
We also welcome pieces that reflect your personal heritage or cultural background. Above all, your programme should be well-structured and engaging for a diverse audience.
WHen are the pop-Up piano concerts?
There will be a few happening in September/October
Is this a Paid concert opportunity?
This is a voluntary performance opportunity, though we can pay for travel expenses and food.
